Default Roll Call

OK--There have been so many wonderful BFP's here lately and I'm so genuinely happy for each of you. Like StaciV said, yes, it is a little hard to read about others success when there are some of us who are still grieving our loss(es). I was getting sad earlier thinking about all of the great and wonderful women who will be leaving our board to go to the preggo boards so I did a little research and I found it to be encouraging.

Since the boards came back up in April after crashing, here is the roll call-

Default Possibly a new one for your board (unfortunately)

Hi everyone

I've been trying for a pregnancy now for some time and recently was referred to the fertility clinic so you can imagine my joy and excitement to find that I was pregnant and a week later (2 days ago) we told our parents who were equally as thrilled.

However yesterday morning I noticd a different colour that I could not describe after urinating when I wiped so went to the GP who sent me to the EPU. They done a scan and because so early was unable to see anything and did blood tests. Later that day brown spotting with some tiny clots and then this morning some blood and some brown spotting with clots but again only when I wipe. Nothing since for the rest of the day.

The hosp have called me with my blood test results and my HCG was only 13 which the nurse doesn't think sounds too good but I now have to wait a whole week until next Weds when they will perform a pregnancy test. I now feel like because of my PCOS i'm never going to have a baby and even more concerned that it will be down to me that my partner won't either if he stays with me.

I now am just hoping that when i go back next week the HCG is higher and this was just implantation spotting.

Default Hoping For You

It broke my heart when I came across your post tonight, In so many
ways it sounds like me. I have had 7 Miscarriages, 6 of which were under the care of what they call themselves "Specialists". No Kids yet. The funny thing is out of all the "Specialists I saw and out of all the poking and
proding I endured, A Family Pract. Diagnosed my Pcos and I started on
Metformin today. My DHEA level was over 4,000 according to the results.
It appears as though I am a walking hormonal time bomb. I was very upset at first because I felt cheated out of the proper care I deserved
under the care of what was supposed to be the best of the best. I will be turning the Big 30 next month and am hopefully looking forward to
celebrating the death of some of these awful symptoms of pcos by taking
the Met. I am crossing all of my digits for you to get good news next week. Please let me know the outcome.

Best of luck with the new treatment, Cree. It often takes a long time for us PCOSers to find the right diagnosis and the right treating provider.

Jada If you want to start a new thread or a monthly thread, just let me know and I can unstick this and stick the new one up. I think it would be good to update it every so often.

I have been keeping up with this thread on a weekly basis, although the last few weeks have been a bit busy for me. Sorry.
